TEAM must pay a yearly club membership fee of $50.00.
Tournament entry fee will be $100.00 per Boat. Maximum of 2 people per boat.
Teams will register themselves as a team at the first tournament of the year fished together.
A team may consist of 1 or 2 members.
Team may have one replacement for the year for a
different partner. Cannot have a substitute for the Championship.
There will be 8 placement tournaments plus a 2 day Classic Championship in October.
At least 1 team member must fish or pay for 5 of 8 placement tournaments for the Team to qualify to fish the Classic.
Tournament fees must be paid on or before each tournament date. If you join the club after the first tournament,
you must pay the membership fee, the fee for that tournament, and the fee for the next tournament.
Official Weigh in times will be announced prior/or on the day of the tournament. You must
be in line with your fish at the official weigh in time or you will not be able to weigh in your fish. Tournament director
may choose to alter this schedule due to weather and will announce changes by sign up on the day of the tournament.
Each team/contestant must pay entry fee, sign entry form and have live well checked before fishing the
All fish brought to weigh-in line must be 14 inches minimum for largemouth bass or state regulations for Kentucky
or spotted bass and meet all Texas Parks & Wildlife regulations for that lake. If not, it may
result in disqualification.
All fish will be measured with mouth shut.
Pro Rule will be the measuring device for tournament weigh-in.

There will be 1 pound deducted from
stringer weight for each dead fish you bring to weigh-in. No ice fish will be allowed.
Trailoring will be allowed. You can fish by boat, tube or wading.

All Texas Parks & Wildlife fishing and boating rules and regulations must be obeyed. Life jackets must be
worn and emergency ignition shut off devise must be attached to driver’s body when boat is on plane.
Sportsmanship: All contestants are expected to follow high standards of sportsmanship, courtesy, safety and
conservation. Any contestant who displays poor sportsmanship, violates these rules or any state or local
laws, or brings unfavorable publicity to the sport of bass fishing will be disqualified. Contestants may
not fish within 50 yards of a competitor’s boat which was first anchored (an anchored boat is a boat held in a stable
position by a line attached to a weight with the trolling motor in the up position), or within 25 yards of a non-anchored
competitor’s boat unless otherwise agreed upon by the other tournament angler.
Protest: Any contestant wishing to file a protest of another contestant must do so in writing within 5 minutes
after the official weigh-in is over.
Weigh-in will not begin without tournament director/designee
Polygraph test may be given at the discretion of
the tournament director.
Any person caught cheating will be disqualified from all club tournaments.
All fish weighed in will become the property of Metroplex Bass Club for live release
with the exception of trophy fish.
Any rule clarification, written or otherwise, will
be handled by the tournament director and their decision is final.
Membership may be refused to any person for any reason by
the tournament director and their decision is final.
